Iraqi Christians by the thousands annually flee their homeland due to ongoing war, persecution and life’s insecurities that have battered their country for the last two decades. Over the course of the last ten years, thanks to your faithful prayers and support, we have been able to encourage and equip some of those faithful church leaders who persist in the work of the Lord in this war-weary field.
Please be praying for these pastors and ministry leaders inside the nation of Iraq for peace in the region, for protection for its people and for many opportunities to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

While life continues to be difficult for believers living in Iraq, some of our ministry partners are leading small groups on how to study the Bible inductively. They then encourage the use of the newly acquired skills to lead small group Bible studies.
Follow-up to an interview between Joel C. Rosenberg, Founder and Chairman of The Joshua Fund, and an Iraqi Pastor as they discussed the grave situation facing Iraqi Christians and how we can pray for and support them.
One of the ways your faithful prayer and generous financial support has shown the love of Jesus Christ to people in Israel and the surrounding nations in the last year is by providing audio Bibles and winter coats to Iraqi refugees. Read more about this special work of the Lord in “AUDIO BIBLES AND WINTER COATS” and share it with a friend.
So many of the Christians in the Epicenter have been caught up in the swift movement of ISIS (Islamic State in Iraq and Syria), which raced from Syria into north central Iraq earlier this summer. One couple that was actively involved in a church found themselves in this dangerous situation. As rumors swirled that ISIS was preparing to invade their town, the couple began to pray, trusting that God would guide them to safety and cover them with His protection, should they need to leave their home quickly.
Please join The Joshua Fund in praying for the people of Syria and Iraq, as well as the U.S. and allied forces to have success in defeating the terrorists that are oppressing the people of these nations.
Please join The Joshua Fund in praying for the people of Israel and Gaza who are suffering from the physical and emotional wounds resulting from the extended days of conflict in their homelands. Please be praying for the people of Iraq and Syria, that the evil plans of terrorist groups in the Epicenter would be exposed and defeated.
Please join The Joshua Fund in an urgent prayer request for the followers of Jesus Christ in Iraq. As the invading terrorist forces move northward, they have overtaken cities that are mainly Christian, attacking churches, threatening believers and driving many from their homes and communities.
Please join The Joshua Fund in asking the Lord to bring His true peace to Gaza, Israel and throughout the Epicenter. We also pray that the Lord would give His protection, courage and strength to believers who remain in Iraq.
The Joshua Fund thanks you for joining us in praying for the people of Iraq as the violence escalates within their nation. Please continue praying that the large group of displaced people would find safe shelter, food, water, clothing and all the daily needs that they had to quickly leave behind.
