Answer to Prayer: Israeli Mayor is Cancer-free
We just got a wonderful email from the office of Ron Nachman, the Mayor of the Israeli city of Ariel, that we wanted to share with you: “Great news! Mayor Ron Nachman is cancer-free! Following three months of chemotherapy and a surgical procedure, Mayor Nachman finally heard the simple yet powerful words from the doctors: ‘You're clean.’”
“This is the day I've been waiting for,’ said Mayor Nachman in response to the long-anticipated report. “I want to thank everyone for standing by my side and for the strong support that they've given me through this time. There is no question that the doctors and the surgeons played an important role all along, but I also want to thank the countless people who prayed for me - day in and day out - and to God Almighty for seeing me through this. Thank you.”
On behalf of The Joshua Fund team, thank you for your faithful prayers for Ron. I know that many of you were joining evangelical Christians around the world in prayer for the Lord to heal Ron and comfort him and his family during this critical time. We rejoice in the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob that He is a prayer-hearing and a prayer-answering God! As the Lord Jesus said in Matthew 21:22, “If you believe, you will receive whatever you ask for in prayer.”
