What Does the Future Hold for Israel & Her Neighbors?
Bible prophecy gives us clues about what’s in store for the Epicenter in the last days.
However, as followers of Jesus, it’s not enough just to know what these prophecies say.
Ezekiel 33 reveals that we are to be watchmen on the walls for our generation.
It’s not our responsibility to convince people of the truth of the gospel—or that the things God has said in His Word will happen.
But it is our responsibility to warn them.
In verses 1-9, the prophet Ezekiel outlines 3 things we must do:
- Watch closely to what is happening in our world, and truly understand the times in the light of God’s Word.
- Accurately assess the gravity of the threats that are coming against our nation, other nations, and the Church.
- Encourage people to repent and to get right with God before it’s too late.
In the New Testament, the Apostle Paul presents another role for believers: Ambassadors.
THIS IS OUR MANDATE—TO BE WATCHMEN AND AMBASSADORS.
If we do our part and people refuse to listen to the gospel message, that's a tragedy.
But if we fail to do our part, then we will be held to account.
God is calling us to be faithful watchmen and reliable ambassadors now more than ever, especially in the Epicenter.
The Joshua Fund exists to bless Israel and Her Neighbors in the name of Jesus, and in doing this also serves as a watchman and ambassador to the region.
Through the Inside The Epicenter podcast, our website, conferences, tours, and more, we educate the global Church on the geopolitical and prophetic implications of what’s happening in the Epicenter.
Our field teams and the incredible local ministry leaders and pastors we partner with are reaching the lost and hurting, serving as ambassadors of Christ in practical and life-changing ways.
As war continues, the needs grow, but so does our opportunity to share the unconditional love of Christ.
Currently, thousands of Israelis are living in hotels because their homes have been destroyed or are in direct danger of rocket fire and drone strikes.
These evacuees – including many elderly people and families with young children – have been far from home, living in fear and uncertainty month after month.
To show them that they are not alone and that there is a God who will provide for them, Joshua Fund staff and volunteers have been purchasing and delivering much-needed supplies.
Items that we often take for granted, such as soap, towels, body lotion, feminine hygiene products, shampoo, toothbrushes, toothpaste, and more, are bringing smiles to downcast faces and hope to the hurting.
Our team also shares with the recipients that millions of Christians around the world are praying for them.
We share that God loves them and that He is our ultimate hope during these dark days.
Our team also includes a magnet with Psalm 23 in Hebrew and some sweets in each box of essential supplies as a reminder that God is good and will protect them.
“Words cannot express what it means to us, the residents of Shlomi, that you think about us and care for us,” shared Maria*, an evacuee from northern Israel.
“It’s more than just the supplies you have been bringing us, it is your love and kindness and warm smiles that remind us we are not alone.”
Please take a moment right now to pray that the Lord would open the hearts of these dear Israelis to the hope found in Him.
Thank you for your support that is blessing so many in need, and may the lord bless you as you serve as a watchman and ambassador to those around you.
2 Corinthians 5:20 says, "We are ambassadors for Christ, as though God were making an appeal through us, and we beg of you on behalf of Christ be reconciled to God.”
