The Joshua Fund has been working to encourage and undergird the efforts of wonderful local ministry leaders – and you have already had an extremely significant role in enabling and supporting these key ministry efforts. These are solid, down-to-earth brothers and sisters who aren’t afraid to roll up their sleeves and do whatever is needed, spiritually and practically. I’ve watched them willingly sleep in the dirt with these kids at camps and retreats, staying up half the night with them – simply to earn the right to know them personallyand minister to them in the deep, personal ways they need.
This vital ministry has made a significant impact on Israeli society. Today they are assisting 450 mothers and babies and have saved at least 1,500 Israeli lives. Just recently this ministry received an award from the Israeli Knesset for “their significant contribution to the protection of mothers and children.”
For over 5 years, The Joshua Fund has partnered with a fantastic team of Israelis whose mission and calling is to make disciples who, in turn, will make disciples. This team has been faithfully leading one of the most effective and fruitful ministries in Israel.
Thankfully, some of the same aspects that have often made the internet a useful tool of the enemy of our souls, are now making it effective for those advancing the Gospel. “As for you, you meant evil against me, but God meant it for good in order to bring about this present result, to preserve many people alive.” Genesis 50:20

Please join The Joshua Fund in asking the Lord to bring His true peace to the nation of Turkey. We pray for the families of those who have lost loved ones, for those who were wounded as well as all those who were traumatized by the attacks at the airport in Istanbul, Turkey.
For years, The Joshua Fund (TJF) has been serving with a ministry partner that operates a Bible teaching radio program, broadcasting into the Epicenter five days a week. Imagine the loneliness of an 80-year-old Arab man living in the West Bank.
Among the greatest joys Lynn and I have experienced in moving to Israel with our sons in August of 2014 has been the opportunity to spend much more personal time with Israelis of all backgrounds, and especially with Israeli pastors and ministry leaders and their families. After all, it’s all about relationships in this country.
Beginning at sundown Saturday June 11 through Sunday, June 12, 2016 the Jewish holiday of Shavuot, also known as Pentecost, is celebrated. This holiday is known by several other names, including the Feast of Weeks and the Feast of the Harvest. The celebration became known as Pentecost, which means 50 in Greek because it is observed 50 days after the celebration of Passover.
