At precisely 10 am Wednesday, May 1, 2019, sirens rang for several minutes all over Israel in honor of Holocaust Remembrance Day.
As we enter the spring season of the Old Testament Feasts, the first celebration is Purim, the Feast of Lots and begins at sundown March 20 – March 21, 2019. This celebration the remarkable story of how the God of Israel used two faithful servants — Esther and Mordecai — and a movement of prayer and fasting to rescue the Jewish people from a Persian regime determined to destroy them.
The Feast of Dedication – Chanukah (Hanukkah) that literally means “Dedication” is celebrated in 2018 beginning at sundown Sunday, December 2 and continuing through Monday, December 10.
The Feast of Tabernacles or Sukkot celebration begins at sundown Sunday, September 23 through nightfall Sunday, September 30, 2018. It was the last of the seven biblically mandated feasts or celebrations. It was also the most joyful and was the only feast in which the Israelites were commanded by God to rejoice. (Deuteronomy 16:13-15)
The 2018 Epicenter Prayer Summit, held by The Joshua Fund, included one evening and full day of “teaching, prayer, praise and worship” at the Jerusalem Theater on July 11 and 12.
Influential Christian leaders Ronnie Floyd and Anne Graham Lotz were among some 800 believers who attended a conference in Jerusalem and offered prayers for "supernatural unity."
