Jack Teitel Convicted
On January 16th, 2013, Ynet News reported that a Jerusalem court convicted Jewish terrorist, Jack Teitel, of two counts of murder, two counts of attempted murder, and incitement to violence and terror. The conviction comes after Teitel murdered a Palestinian bus driver, Samir Akram, and a Palestinian shepherd, Issa Jabarin, in 1997. In 2008, Teitel attempted to murder then 15-year old Ami Ortiz by placing explosives in a package concealed as a gift for the Jewish holiday of Purim. Ami Ortiz, the son of an Israeli pastor, was badly injured in the attack but experienced remarkable physical healing by the Lord’s grace. The Ortiz family was a tremendous witness as they exhibited the love of Christ by forgiving Teitel of the attempted murder. The defense in the case had contended that Teitel was legally insane and not in control of his faculties at the time of his crimes, but the court found that he was fit to stand trial.
Please pray for the families and loved ones of those who have been hurt by Mr. Teitel's actions. Please also pray for Mr. Teitel to repent and come to salvation in Christ.
